I don't ask because it will change my life or will effect me in any way, I'm just curious as to how people perceive the idea of modding a 3000lb 4cyl SUV/Wagon. I do it because I have a daughter and a lot of stuff that is carried in my car on a daily basis, so the size matters. The fact that not many people have them, let alone mod them is also something that I like.

I think it's pretty cool, and definitely unique. Not everyone can drive what they wanna drive, not necessarily because of money but practicality reasons, props to you dirtwagon.

plus think about it....how damn funny would it be to pull up beside some ricer in that SUV and walk all over them...
personally i think its pretty cool, but at the same time i would tell you to not go overboard with it and try to do some crazy **** like turbo it out or anything

Without any major engine mods, the only thing I have a chance against is a rice bucket. But, the thought of stomping a ricer with a wagon/suv is just priceless- that is my perfect VISA commercial:

i love mine and plan to do some mods to it,
now my evo was another story, i loved it also but there were to many ricers always trying to race you and there are some people who rice out their evos, in my opinion it just makes you look bad. If people didnt do such stupid things and act childish i would still have the car but i was sick of every lil kid trying to get you to do burnouts rev your engine...or idiots in there civics trying to race me......
But hey some people just dont get it haha, i mean when i was 16 i would do some stupid things to my eclipses but i regret it now, haha, i am 21 now and have moved on and now i like the suv's and the nicer luxury cars..
But dirt man its awesome your modding the outlander, hopefuly i can steal some ideas from you :-)
