Okay my six bolt is being sawpped in this weekend and hes throwing in a Manuall boost controll, boost, air/fuel, and oil psi gauge.

Its a 6-Bolt
Has 4 Layer Head gasket
and ARP Head studs

The gaskets can hold 80 and the studs around 120 pounds

But my question how much boost i can safly run on that crank, stock pistons and rods.  Im putting in a 25/28 BB turbo to.

So what do you guys think

why even ask then lol.... If its a bigger flowing turbo than stock you may even not want to push more than 15

It depends on the turbo. Im not going to say you can run 17psi because if you have a T25, then thats fine, but if you have something like a FP3065 or GT40R, your motor will blow. It depends on the flow rate of the turbo. On a stock turbo however, 15 would be good.

What turbo are you going to run? Even if the 6 bolt is stock, they have been known to handle 400hp+.

I wouldnt go over 18lbs with even after those upgrades..  But if its your daily driver and you dont want to start fixing things, i would stick with about 16-17..
