if you want the easy way... but with the least room to move. You can unbolt the tranny and slide it back and just remove the clutch and flywheel assembly and slite the tranny back into place and bolt everything up.

no. Its fairly strait forward... just unbolt it... and replace what is there.

well you can't go too far back because you have front halfshafts that are'nt going to allow for alot of room to get your hands in there.

Should be enough though.... right? Enough to get the clutch n flywheel assembly out.

so the clutch is just bolted to the fly wheel? or is the presure plate bolted to the fly wheel, and the rest just slides it to the tranny than you alighn it and re install the tranny?
so is this one of thoughs things that once you get in there you will pretty much see how things go together!

and for a clutch, it depends on what you have done to the car. i would probably go with an ACT 2100.

Just get a full street disc. No puck clutch. They are for drag racing... you will break your teech with it on the street. You wont be able to drive it. Not to mention it wont last long.

oh dear ^^
HAVE FUN WITH THAT ONE! Wont last as long as a full disc and will be more difficult to drive with it.

actually it will last longer than a disc clutch, but it will be more of a pain. reason it will last longer is because of the material. The discs only use a cheap organic material while usually the puck clutches will use a strong fiber or even kevlar. I know you can get kevlar discs, but its not what ACT uses

How will it last longer engineer?
TheEngineer

its just the material thats on the face. Like if you had a kevlar disc, that thing would NEVER burn out. Organic material discs just wont last as long under constant beating. They are good for alot of daily driving and the ocasional race. But for something that is beaten on alot it just wont last as long as a ceramic or kevlar

well the good thing about this clutch is it has springs so that will help to reduce the chatter a bit

True that... but in the principle of less surface area = more pressure on the parts that make contact... right? So if you take a full disc... and a 6 puck both made of the same material... the full dusc will last longer. Thats what im sayin.
