Where did you get the engines? The one with the smaller ports i think was used on a different car in Japan...

could the one in the back be a 7bolt head and the front be a 6bolt head? cause i heard something about the 7bolts flowing better...

its not on a 7bolt block though i checked. but if someone ported it out then they did a heck of a job doing it it looks mechine done. would that benifit in powers with better flow and is it safe to put on my enigne?

yea absolutely it'll flow better... and you can use a 7-bolt head on a 6-bolt motor

well anytime you get better flow it is going to help perfomance thats why people port and polish their block..

The silver top motor is a 1G 6 bolt motor and the black top is a 7 bolt. There's really that big of a difference between those 2 heads and that 1G doesn't look ported. The 90-early 94 2.0GS (n/a) heads also had those big ports.
Normally the 1G head is swapped on a 2G block; it's seldom the other way around. You really see the big benefits of those large ports when you're cranking up the boost.

yea, one's just off a 6-bolt, and one's off a 7-bolt... which the 6 and the are referring to the flywheels
