a 2003 evo 8 with full 3" exhaust, air intake, and pushing 24 psi..with those mods and no ECU flash or tune what would be the horsepower..just looking for ballpark numbers kinda did some math myself but not 100% sure so asking for assistance here

Without a few dyno runs this isn't possible to determine because there are quite a few factors. As a ballpark figure I would say between 285 - 315 horsepower. I believe the stock 2003 Evolution puts out 271 horsepower.

I can tell you stock in my 03 evo i put down 245hp and 246 tq. This was on a dyno jet dyno. But like he said it will vary. Dyno jet or mustang dyno will give u a big difference too. With no ecu reflash ur going to be hitting boost cut alot and running pretty lean . The 03 evo fuel pump is weak. I'd say about 275 to 300whp. Do a reflash and upgrade ur fuel pump and you'll be looking at 325-350 whp.

ya sorry forgot to meantion that do have a 255 walbro fuel pump since the stock one i heard sucks for the 03s. but thanks for the input now im just trying to decide wether i should get my ecu flashed and tuned at the one tune shop here with an awd dyo or send my ecu in for a flash..only thing is this is my daily driver so i dont want to not have a car for a week

colorado springs, colorado where the air is nice and thin and 12s cars actually require work lol..but i do beleive the only place in town with an awd dyno is a place called revolutions tuning cuz i had my gsxr there before i sold it

you only making like 260 at best. your actually prob slower than that because having exhaust and running 24PSI is a bad idea on stock tune. your killing yourself. you dont need to dyno to get a good tune. you can get a ECU mail in and trust me its worth it. or just buy a SAFC and wideband and tune it yourself

yes he is hitting boost cut prob every time its cool outside and floors the gas from low RPMS , however its not running lean. The Evos stock tune is Waaaayyyyyyy to rich and the more bolt ons you do the more rich they run, the boost will lean slightly but not enough the cars just run pig rich out of the box

awesome thanks for the input, any idea what i would run HP wise with a flash/tune with that setup not necceserly to the wheels since ill pass on the dyno if this shop is just willing to flash/tune

close to 300whp after a flash with timing and fuel maps tuned in for your mods. average flash get about 30WHP gain even on close to stock cars. Its one of the best mods when your starting out with some bolt ons. Trust me you WILL feel a huge difference

whats done to the stealth? We got a stealth here waiting on a rebuild has some small bolt ons nothing to make alot of power. My Evo has around 410HP on pump and when I get my meth kit this winter I can have it dyno tuned at about 30PSI should be making 500HP by spring. 500HP in an Evo will run very close to high 10s at around 125MPH or so depending on driver and conditions and all that

well i know its got upgraded turbos, exhaust, bunch of wierd work done to the engine that my friend bought it with, race cluch and rebuilt tranny. but to be quite honest im not 100% sure on it since the friend lives in the town south of us so i don't see him or run with him quite as often

looks pretty decent to me. As long as your staying around the 11.5 range thats a good tune. When you start to fall below 11 is where adjustment i think is needed

well you want to be under 11.1 up high. But even still that is not a stock afr graph. It had to have been changed. my wideband couldnt Even read it because the afrs were more rich than 10.1. they lean out on a flash to around 11.3 or so. and it saves alot of gas milage too.
Did you say your stock dyno run got you 260 something HP? because these cars get under 250 stock every time usually under 240hp acually from what I have seen
TheEngineer

well on his AF charts it shows the max power to be 244hp
Evo2nv

Ya my max power was like 244.77 i believe. But ya that was my stock dyno run. I probley could of picked up more hp if this TC , tranny and rear fluid wasn't running on the orginal break in fluid with 30k on it. Also at that time and currently I don't have a egr valves that opens too if that helps.
