Hey guys, I'm looking into buying a 2001 or 2002 eclipse spyder! I want to know what turbos would work for the GS or the GT? I'm not sure which one i want yet, but if i can get a turbo for the GS inline 4, i'd like to go that route! Plese help me, and give me some links if possible, i havent found any on the sites ive visited! Thanks, brent!

I personally think you should go with the GT... Never start out smaller if you dont have too...

http://www.ddynopower.com/
www.tearstone.com

try both of those... Upgrading your turbo isnt cheap so be ready to spend some $$$

personally, i would not go with the dougs dyno power kit. its a poorly designed kit that WILL require modifications to make it work. since you don't know much about cars or turbos, i would go with the turbo kit from tearstone.com. it is completely bolt on and comes with a safe tune. what more could you ask for.

i built my own turbo kit for my 3rd gen GT and it wasn't worth the pain. i custom fabricated everything. i did everything right but the money i had to spend on the trans, fuel system, and internals on the car was crazy. 3rd gen GT parts are not cheap. Just something to think about.

some guys will freeze 1st and 2nd gears b/c of the hard shifting with the GT manual tranny. and the synchros suck.

the trans in those things aren't worth a damn. i replaced it, had the syncros cryo treated, new clutch and all that good stuff. even with the lsd i had major traction problems.
