I need quick horsepower . I want to know what I should do if I'm trying to gain quick horsepower through inexpensive minor modifications. I'm short on funds right now so for now I need to get my fix from small horsepower gains.

Remove your exhaust, that's free, won't pass many emissions tests that way, tho. You can also remove the air box, and run a hose or tube to the front of the car, so it's 100% air from the front, without an air filter. That, too, is free. Gut the interior, it's no HP gain, but you'll go faster with less dead weight. Remove the a/c pump, and any other non-essential things draining power from the engine via pullies. That also costs $0.00 US ($0.32 CDN). I'm not trying to be an ass, I just needed to get a laugh today, it's been a long week. I'm not much of a car modder, lol. I'm sure someone can answer your question honestly. Welcome to the forum.

you can try changing you air intake as Tmann26 said. You can also remove your cat converter for less gas restrictions but i't won't pass the emissions test. you can also try a NOS octane booster, its pretty cheap and works great.

As for exhaust, I just recently had 2.5'' pipes from the resinator back and a round magnaflow muffler installed...souds great I must say. And as for intake, I have an AEM V2 Cold Air Intake coming in the mail.

Hey, If you want a low and mellow exhaust, get the Tsudo N1 catback, it sounds so nice, thats the exhaust I have! I sounds sweet!

I have a couple friends with magnaflows on their cars and I'm a fan of both of them.
