Wow. I think I just got a total hardon. I love that model and the year isn't that bad either. Good luck with it man. If she gives you the run around, it's understandable but hey, you'll be clearing out the backyard.

Nice car. The interior looks nice too. The rims are ugly though. Why are both headlights filled with water?

probably not a good idea to have told anyone. Some crazy supra guys could be out searching in your area, and theyll snag it before you

Chances are the old lady didnt bother with the car, kinda like when someone dies their room stays the same for the longest time. Chances are if it was last inspected in 98 at 48k, my guess that the car has been sitting for 2-4 years. So you may be able to pull it away from her. But I wouldent low ball her, 15k is a good offer for the condition its in. If I were you I would do it polite as hell, talk to her for a few min, explain how you know that the car was her sons and your sorry for her loss but you would be very instrested in taking it off her hands and restoring it.

yea but if she realises what he's doing theres a chance that she'll think he's a prick and not sell him the car..theres a price for everything you know

If your good enough then you will never worry. Obviously dont be an ass but if she does not know the true value of the car and you exploit it... whos fault is that?

Ill just ask how much she is looking to sell for and then make an offer off of what she expects it is worth I think she has not the slightest clue it is a high value car.

Update** I found a more truthful story, her son is alive an well he is a boston Police officer she is a 57ish year old 2nd grade school teacher and the other neighbor said to me the car has been there as is for at leasy 5-10 years and they have no regard for it. She said chances are she would sell to get rid of it but she wasnt sure who the owner of the car was because the home owner was this womens brother in law so chances are it was his car or soemthing. Based on the home care ands property care it seems they may need some $$$ so they might bite on any offer so now The deep detective work begins so I can get ahold of the owner. The neighbor also said she is at the house maybe once every week or so, and she is doing threw a divorce and prolly is just living with her new B\F

any thoughts at this point in the story???

I am not sure at the moment I am researching all of the Info I got today by the neighbor and it is 100% accurate. I found a phone # of the home owner listed as a man named Tom which was the name I was given. Her son she said was patrick from bostom police and I found that to be true and her father!?!? I think it was he was a police spokesman for boston and the neighbor said he past away a few years back and I found that newpaper article as well saying 2004 he passed at the age of 76. Sooo The neighbor got me some leadway to follow and I looked up the school she teaches at but no teacher info other than it is a small private school with 10 teachers total

Im trying, next thing I got to do is have NESpeed run the VIN of the car when he is on patrol in the cruiser so I can find the name the car was registered under and maybe go from there...I dunno its insanity from the very begining I mean who dumps one of these cars off to rot away in the first place.

well the women who lives in the house is the teacher, she does not own the house it is her brother in laws I think she said. her son is a police officer and I cant remember if it was her grandfather or her father is also in the police force and he died in 2004 at 76 years old and 36 years in the force.

So somewhere in the chain of this family someon ownes this beast that I HOPE to god will be the deal of the centry for me to buy it hahaha
