8psi ^^^
Agreed, that's a pretty safe number when boosting a stock motor.  I'd actually go a little lower at first to make sure you're not creeping past it, but 8 psi would be the highest.

8psi is safe. After that the weakest component is the ring lands

i have a 2005 eclipse gs 2.4L.... What do i need to change on a stock motor so i can put a new t3 turbo kit on it..

Way to thread jack newb, start your own frikin thread!

Back on topic, fast and ES Lancer don't go together without a few Benjamin's involved. And I don't know if anyone has asked yet, or if you said and I missed it, is your Lancer an auto or 5spd? If you've got an auto and thinking of going turbo, stop thinking and sell the car, cuz you'll be wasting your time and money. A decent turbo kit can usually be had for around $3k, plus whatever installation runs.

Mine is a 5 speed... I feel that it speeds up faster than the automatic ones... I also test drove the 08 lancer (Automatic) and mine sped up faster than it.
