hey guys... decided to go w/ the GSX, yes evo's are nice but i want something i can just pay off for right now, and i figure, i'm young, i have plenty of time for more expensive toys down the road; i'm not doing to bad for myself right not at 20 owning my own house, 2 cars, a boat and waverunner lol.     i'm not asking anybody to go searching to the end of the internet but i am in the market for a 97-99 eclipse gsx now.  i'll be selling my car as soon as i can get the interior back together, cleaned up and the front bumper back on.   i don't care if it's running or not b/c i'm gonna be dropping a built motor in it anyways (and i have the del slow to drive while the eclipse is down).   if it is running i don't want anything heavily modified... at most i'm looking at exhaust, intake, boost controller, ic piping and bov.   so if you see anything let me know... i'd appreciate it.

look at dsmtrader im sure they always have some since project cars in there

i did, its saved under my favorites now... but there are only 2 chasis, one is a 95 (hate the body) and one that was back from september.     there are a couple other decently priced ones but i havent sold my car yet so.. . .  can't buy it yet.

is dsmsource the same thing?

yup. It used to be just DSM trader, but then the host shut it down and it was later taken over by DSMSource.

There are a few shells on tuners.
 
Hey are you specifically looking for a 2g? What about a 1g?

sebba did you even read his post. He's specifically looking for a 97-99. I doubt he wants a 1g

no 1g's for me and no 95-962g's for me.    definatly want 97-99.   never heard of DSM Source but i'll definatly check it out. thanks.

only thing wrong with the 95-96 2g's r the bumpers... not as cool as the 97-99's. do u plan on changing them or do u want the car to look stock?

Well... that together with the general condition of the car... the amount of miles a 95 has on the shell is going to be different than that of a 99 obviously. Combined with the bumper difference... i can see why.

but if the motor will be replaced screw the miles

97-99 GSX > 95-96 GSX  for looks, for miledge (even though the motor will be rebuilt you dont want a block thats been beat to **** for over 12 years) but i would go for a 96 Gsx just because the ugly ass body :-p then i would put big Greddy window banner on it.. then a nice big SUPRA wing on the back Carbon fiber EVERYTHING and then to top it off...NITROUS BOTTLES..that no one in my area can fill up.. then i'd show those noobs in evos how to drive a real race car

negative.     yes the 97-99 is for the body, the smily face bumper is the most hideous thing i've ever seen in my life!    if i do end up gettin nitrous... the bottle will take me forever to drain b/c the only time i'd ever us it is in a big race, and i'd only use a 50shot to spool my turbo whenever i wanted.
