Ok Im going to be changing my component speakers next weekend and im just wondering if i have to do anything special? Or can I just wire them straight in?
My car is a 2001 Eclipse GT V6 with the Infinity sound system in it.

Not really, assuming youll be using the original wiring? WHen you go to change the head unit is when it gets more complicated. Which youll want to do... as the stock one only puts out something like 25w a channel.
