first question, does the exhaust go under or above the rear axle? the stock one was above the rear axle but i spent 3 hrs today trying to get it to run the same route.. however after i dropped the rear axle i was able to place 2 brackets however the pipes did not line up correctly.... is it supposed to go under the rear axle or is there any tips you guys can give me to help me out?

exhaust never go underneath the rearend of a car. that's asking for a pinched exhaust

It's a b!tch man..My Apexi N1 was PITA but my cuzin and I got her done..Try taking it clear over by the rear wheel and sliding it up and in...why the hell would it go UNDER the axle?? That's just asking to be ground down to nothing or ripped off.

yea those things can be a pain... but be careful not to bend the exhaust or break anything while youre feeding it through

I just looked online from where i bought the exhaust and it states,

About this Product:

Pipe Diameter: 80mm, Tip Diameter: 115mm, Install under rear suspension.

So does it go under the axle? why else would it not line up properly?? the exhaust pipe wont turn enough to line it up properly due to the spare tire and the gas tank...

Are you sure you got the right one? A cat back for a gsx, won't work on a gs-t. fyi.

Lil Evo and shreff99 i hate to say it but you were both wrong.. the exhaust does go under the rear suspension... took 30 mins to bolt it up and it fits snug and has about 6 inches (guess) of clearance... i just drove over 3 or 4 speed bumps and nothing.... so before giving people advice please have the right answer or knowledge without a doubt on what you say.. im not bein a prick but i wasted a day due to the advice saying it doesnt go under the suspension, and being in the army i dont have much extra time.. thanx... Rob thank you for not giving out false information... i double checked the greddy website before putting it on just now and this is what it says, look at 95-99 eclipse gst... what does it say under special notes???? anyways it sounds great and has a smooth sound to it and i can feel a big difference in the performance... i would recommend it to everyone

mine is not man...I have a full turbo back 3 inch Apexi N1 system and I helped him install it in the garage...dude, I was there and I know what I'm sayin..I've had the car 5 years now..don't be such a cocky prick and have a military attitude toward people...next time it's warm I'll take pics, I'll get my cousin who is an auto body tech. to sign up on here and state how we installed it, plus I'll take it to work and put it up on the damn rack and take pics from underneath...I'm that confident.

Oh, and BTW...mine came off a Spyder GS-T which was owned by a good friend of mine...I bought it off of him obivously, before he got rid of the car..I helped him take it off and put the factory one back on..that's how I scored it cheap off of him...so before it went onto my car I knew how to get it on there...my biggest struggle was getting the factory exhaust off from around that area.

you want to see my give-a-sh*t meeter about your day off? cuz it's reading pretty low right about now. anybody with half a brain can bolt on an exhaust pipe, it's really not that difficult. so sue me for thinking logically and guessing that it would run like every other exhaust known to man. guess Greddy really dropped the ball in the R&D department.
