I did not receive any instructions on the grounding kit, can anyone help me with install. I assume it's simple, but don't want to do it twice.
Thanks

wicked hasn't been on for 4 days or so.... wonder what's going on...lol
I know, wicked reccomended purchasing a ground kit.
I installed the regulator as that was basic and had instructions.
The system I got is an ebay purchase, so maybe it's a pos, maybe it's not.
Here's the link. After I got it they said none of them have instructions- just my luck.

BTW, I bought a new head unit today complimentary of the tax man, I got a Pioneer DEHP7700MP.
I think it's going to be pretty nice, I'll post pics later.
There is a two week wait time on the wiring harness, special order

bought it at circuit city and none of the stores local had the items needed for the install. Stereo is sitting in my closet....that really sucks. I'm pretty sure it was the harness that was holding up progress due to the fact that they don not do many installs on outlanders...that's what they told me.

All I know is their computer said they didn't have it in stock. I'd rather wait two weeks and make sure they have what they need or think they need. Personally I would rather splice the wires than wait, but installation is free so I can be a little more patient. I have issues with waiting and being patient, especially with product in hand.
BTW, I went car shopping for fun last month and looked at an Expedition, and the aftermarket stereo was installed UPSIDE DOWN! That just cracked me up.

you should have just got everything from crutchfiels. 30 bux for the whole setup from them, and i got it in about a week. but it also helps if you know what you are doing.

The key to my patience was free installation. Anything other than that I would tell them forget it and go somewhere else. Crutchfield, damn I haven't bought anything from them in like 10 years. Still have the tech line for assistance?

You might be able to get a better picture from the people that make the wires. I'd contact them and let them know what you want to do.

dude, follow the path were all silver wires at.....check this out, you gotta have 5 points k? heres the points:

1.negative battery clamp (connect wire / wires to post )

2.from negative post to engine block

3.from negative post to left ground wall ( body)

4.right ground wall (body) to throttle body

5.throttle body to rear wall (replace stock ground wires, throttle section)
