Intercoolers

Hello my brethren! Once again i am in needof your assistance.

Hey guys,

Whats an AWESOME intercooler for my evo if im lookin to spend like $800-$1000? Is there and intercooler for less that is like 'the underdog but still beats out the others? I was looking to buy some Injen pipes and then I was lookin at some APS and Turbo XS and Injen Intercoolers?

Are there any I should stay away from?

also there race FMIC is $1600 but they are making over 900HP using that beast. I think AMS and bushur racing are the 2 id look into because they are on top oF the EVO HP world

Okay and whats the hp rating on those, because i heard that putting too large of an intercooler on n actually make you lose hp. that true?

not really on the EVO.... on a DSM with stock T25 ya. but I am running high boost compaired to DSMs. and the claim a 20WHP gain can be made with a proper tune
