what's the deal? How's everyone doing. Of course I'm new to the site and just wanted to say what's up to the whole gang. I have a 98 Eclipse GS that has a dead motor. I recently  got very interested in using it as a project/daily driver. I had the idea of swapping the motor out for a 4G63 Turbo 5spd AWD. Can anybody tell me about how much this will cost me? What changes will I have to make to the suspension and axles since it is only FWD right now? Any recommended sites that carry good JDM 4G63 turbo motors? Please help me!!!
Any advice and info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

well we have a saying here about your problem.....it is "BUY A GSX!!" this is a common question, youll be spending too much money swapping in the engine that wont fit, so buy somthing that already has a 4g63 in it....welcome to the forums

For all intents and purposes, it cant be done. Itd be about as easy as dropping a jet engine in there.

There isnt really a 'JDM' 4g63t... they were produced here... theyre about as Japanese as pizza.

Well thank you for the feedback. As of now I just plan on changing the motor for the same one but one that works of course. Is there any chance of me being able to supercharge it? If so, are there any recommendations? Thank you

420a motors arent really the best candidates for forced induction either...
It isnt a spyder is it? If so, then you have a 4g64... which would make life a lot easier.
