now I hope I'm wrong - but there's a reason they build Hondas ..... they're for people who don't respect or understand real cars.

if you haven't noticed, i've been pretty set on this del sol thing for quite a while now. and no i don't concider this a DUMB idea. a turbo'd gsr engine will be about 300whp before my engine build and about 400 after the build.

400HP will hardly be usable without crazy tires and suspesion on such a light car.... Plus 2 things at the end of the day. Its a honda and its FWD lol. Im just mesing with ya. (but I do think it is a bad idea though, weather you can or cant afford an Evo just saying lol)

true that i will need a very nice supension setup to be able to catch any kind of traction w/ 400 and i'm not even sure whether i wanna go that high or not. i will be running a tein coilover system in it so i'll have a nice suspension on it. i just haven't decided yet... and i haven't ruled out supercharging it yet either :)

Turbo it if you must.. slap on Some BFG DRs and gowith Tien flex's your traction should be aleast a little better but at 400hp your still not going to have much useable power unless it is over 60MPH

in my opinion del sol's are too heavy. Some s.e del sol wieght surpasses the four door EG civics. GSR is a very nice setup to go with., although i doubt it highly you'll be doing mid 13's or even high 13's with just the swap. On nitrous, or boost, yes but not all motor. I'm sure you know this already.
If you do go boost, the GSR is the best honda motor to go with, other the k20 of course, becuase of it's thick walls and forged crank. When your done, i'm sure it going to be very fast. good luck!

the owners are normally a$$holes too...this guy in a stiock civic reved his engine and i yelled at him screaming "MY 2 LITRE MOUNTAIN DEW IS BIGGER THAN YOUR ENGINE!!!!!" his gf says "YEA AND WHAT DO U DRIVE" i replied "somthing better than that"....he knew he was owned if his gf yelled at me lol....but 2200 lbs....i can tow that easily with out losing 0-60 time lol(well prolly losing 0-60 lol)
