Making an engine swap in a Mirage?

Hey, my friend has told me that i can replace my 4G15 with a JDM Eclipse GST engine...is this possible?

Yep...just put a USDM 4g63 in it....basicly the same thing as JDM 4g63....not much  different between the 2 motors other than the intake mani....correct me if im wrong

The intake manifold of the cyclone is a little but wider the the domestic 4g63. Other than that, they are the same. You will also need a JDM ECU to work with the cyclone engine.

well it can be done ....but be ready for a trans and axles that little 2.0 motor is far from a turbo eclipse i would'nt do it but i'm a dealership tech and we stay away from swaps like that .

every time you turn around you find something wrong, if your a seasoned mechanic you'll do just fine but if it's all new to you just get the eclipse
