Wife:  Guess what was still in your shorts pocket after I did the wash?

Me:  Doh!

Still works - we'll see if there are any ill effects over the longer term.  Dumbass.

Nice work :)

The dealer said they were only like 40 dollars to replace, so that sure beats other keys like VW's flip key which is like 300!!

Really $40 because at our dealer theyre telling me that the LS key with the remote is $100.  I think its pretty crappy that to get a third key it has to be a freakin fortune. There is no key available without remote

Well this is the FAST key, so I don't know how different the LS key is.

Yeah these things are tough, I took mine for a swim at the beach, got sand in it and had to chase my fog with it on his mouth..still works!

Hard plastic casing makes it very tought, you might actually need to hammer onto it to break it. And it's also waterproof, that's why it still works after the wash.

It wouldnt kill it because there is no juice running through it at the time. Now, if there was a button pressed while it was in there, that could have fried it
