Hi guys,
My A/C does not seem to be as cold as I think it should be, so I went and got it checked at a local garage.
They hooked up an AC tester, and they told me that I have 2.5% air in the lines and therefore there must be a leak. I told them it had been like this for a couple of months (I live in Florida so I get to use it more...).
Being as the AC temp has not worsened since I have had the car (since Feb), is their diagnosis correct ? Note I did not have any work done, just the check performed. I was expecting to just need a charge as the car went into service in 2004 so I did not think anything would have started leaking yet.
Cheers.

Take it to a dealer and have them check it for leaks. If the a/c is blowing warm its because you have a low charge in your a/c system(leak).

Will do.
One quick question though. If I do have a leak would the A/C start to get warmer ? It seems to be consistent just not as cold as I expected it to be.
Thanks.

Yeah if you had a leak it would continue to get warmer.

Another thing does the a/c switch on and off fast? Like every 15-20 seconds?
