That's funny! I think exactly the opposite. Performance wise... mustangs have done nothing but get better. For me, it is all about the money to power ratio on a good handling car. Those cars have fixed axles. I like having an all wheel independent suspension so that I can drive fast out on the street and have handling to match it. That's why I bought my '88 supra. (I got it for $100) I have put $300 into it and now I am really close to getting it started. This is a turbo'd car with a targa top! I am ready to get it registered and put on the road soon.

Power-wise and what not the new mustangs might be better, but they are no longer sports cars. You see them EVERYWHERE, almost as much as Honda Civics. ****, I'd trade some performance for some rarity any day. Performance you can upgrade and cultivate. But you can't take cars off the road.

My car is going to be a weekend car if that...only will be driven on nice sunny days once I get back up to mass.

NESpeed has only put like 6000 miles on his RX7 in 3 years so thats pretty much how all the NewEngland Speed cars will be.

STFU and stay outta this convo i own two friggin eclipse and i owned a first gen and sold it. If you would read you would see why GM is laying off all there workers and experts say the economy will drop . its because we arnt spending the american dollars here where spening in it other countries. ****ing tard.

I think cobras run 12s stock actually but ill stick with my EVO or maybe a supra over american made stuff unless I could get a Nice Z06.
