hey im intrested in both cars even tho both are completly different. my friend has an 06 lancer es and my other buddy has an 01 gs i like both alot but im not sure what one would suit me better. i like to take turns fast. and go fast down the highway. i was thinking the ralliart but i think it will need some suspension work to take corners like the eclipse?? what do u think

you want a 4 door? or a 2 door? the eclipse is a bit more sporty looking then the lancer es.. and the 3g platform has gotten alot bigger and a bit easier to mod these days =D

I would go with the 3rd gen.

The only lancer I would bother with would be an EVO. But given the choice I'd say the eclipse. I know I love mine!
