I have a 97 Gst spyder and i bought a carbon fiber hood for it off my buddy this summer and i went to put it on and it seems that its not gonna fit. My question is are the hoods all the same through 95-99?? I always thought they were.

it will fit all 95 - 99 eclipses

did your buddy get it off ebay, or ever put it on, because all 95-99 will work. Sounds like you just have the wrong hood.

alright ill try and post a pic of the hood... its looks exactly like the stock hood the only difference is the carbon fiber factor. Yeah my buddy got it off of a guy that had it on a 99, i dont know where the guy got it. He was sellin it because hes gettin rid of the car and my buddy was interested in it. Im gonna mess around with it and see if im bolting it up wrong.

well if the guy had it on his 99 it should fit your car.
