Ok found my boost leak and alls good, but sometimes when my cars been sitting and the engine cools off and i go to start it when it does it like idles really low and i cant really rev it and sometimes dies a couple times. i try to rev it and its slow revving then after it heats it up it seems to run fine and idle ok. Anyone know what this could be? And its a 1992 VR-4.

O also it never did this before i change my spark plugs and wires. I have bigger wires now could that be something with like the plugs heating up or something?

This might sound dumb but are the plugs gapped properly?

They said they were pre-gapped. But i was thinking if it was the gap wouldn''t it do that all the time instead of just when its starting up.

Yeah I know I just wanted to throw that out there, does it smoke at all when you first start it?  How many miles are on the engine?

ok it only does it once in awhile when i start it not all the time so it can be just some adjustment somewhere

I could be a coolant temp sensor starting to act up and make the car foul the plugs when you first start.  Just an idea, happens a lot on 1g''s.

ok apparently it was my battery, i cleaned my terminals and tightened them. And now everything seems to be fine. I guess the battery was not connected all the way so thats why it would barely run until the alternator juiced it up more. Thanks for the comments tho guys.
