don't know if this will help but you can get a 5 speed turbo tranny's from buscar racing for like 1900 but I am not sure about automatics none turbo one. You might give them a try. If you run across ne turbo engines and trannys or just trannys give put a thread in. Sometimes I run across non turbo ones and I will try to send you the info if I do.

You are very much in luck, you can find those transmissions for you car in abundance at junkyards.  They are the same as the ones in Dodge Avengers, sebrings, and neons.  Getting it cleaned and rebuilt should cost around $600 from a shop.  Good luck.

spydergs are you refering to the transmission I need for my 97 gst. I thought that the tranny's in the non turbo cars were like that of the neon but not for the turbos as for the Dodge Avengers and sebrings that is the first I have heard of anything relating to a 2g eclipse. If I can use these trannys do you know which models of the cars metioned would have the correct one. I asume they have a few different engines in those cars although I am not to familar with them personally.

The 420a(chrysler motor) was used in neons, avengers, and sebrings.  The 4g63 was used in the GS-T(mitsubishi motor).  That help any Eric?

I fully understand you.  Everybody has to learn at some point.  Just don't be afraid to ask.  Heck, I'm still learning myself on alot of things.

Thanks for the encouragement, i am not sure this is really relavent but I have grown up around austin mini (or mini coopers as most now them) and have learned a lot about engines and trannys threw building a rebuilding them. This is just a new ball game for me so to say but if you know anyone with a mini, wants one or just has question about them I am a wealth of knowlege. Sorry for going off topic.
