How many here think a neon underbody kit will ruin the clean look. Any one think theres a way to add neons without looking ricey?

Not unless you want a car that is entirely just for shows. But driving it on the street with it or just parking with it is retarded

it's about opinion.  i think if somebody has a SOLID color, NOT flashing or dimming or any of that crap, INSTALLED nicely to where you can't see the bulbs, it's on the RIGHT kind of car, and it adds or compliments the color scheme... it looks good.    but most people just misuse them and give them a bad look/rep.

I agree like you have have a white car and put some nice white neons under it it can look pretty neat. But overall it is pretty darn ricey

I was wanting to do some kind of neon... but then i got to thinking. How reliable can these things be? Are the bulbs going be ok, or will they go out after 1 single bump or railroad track.

They are played out to the maximum extremity.

I think they would look good if you don't over do it.  It's just true with everything else really.  When it comes to physical attraction, less is more holds true.  Rarely do you see a nice looking car with flashing lights and rainbow color pain job.  It's often the clean and simplicity that are attention grabbing (in a good way).  I personally think a solid RIGHT color would be beautiful.  By white, I mean not opposites.  If you have a blue car, red would just be horrendous.  Basically, I think red/blue/purple/green are just way too flashy.  White is subtlely nice.  Yellow and orange, you'll get away with.
