this is for anyone that knows about good brakes. i was wondering what brakes would be best for handling 300whp , i have chrome rims and i dont want pads that get them all black and ****ty looking if you know what i mean, my stock brakes are getting really weak andi have the money to go ahead modify new brakes, i have to do a rear drum to rotor caliper brake conversion. a major question is can any brake kit be used with the stock master cylinder and brake lines or is it best to get all new steel brake line, they are not that expensive i noticed on ebay,
i know brembo seems to be notorious but are way to expensive, what brakes are just as good as these?

wilwood? pro slot? aem?

brembos are great, and expensive. AEM makes a pretty darn good affordable kit that will easily handle your amount of power.

Baer kits are kick ass! If you want to go a little cheap, why don't you check out the 1g big brake swap or off of a 3000gt?
I've seen 450whp with this swap and still have a stopping distance of 150ft @ 100mph. Just make sure you get good stainless steel lines.
