1st gen talon tsi, can I chip and socket the ecu? do I need a settup besides mani for and externally gated turbo? how much boost do stock injectors support? engine managment software? how much power does the stock bottom end handle (with a proper tune of course) ? Thanks for your input guys and please no bullsh@#ters

Doing a search would have gave you most of your answers.
Do u have an eprom ecu? A stock 6 bolt will handle 450-500 hp w/ a right tune, 7 bolt will handle 425-450 hp.

yes you can socket and the ecu. i have one. i went to dsmchips.com and got mine there. i like it a lot. and thats where i would reccomend going there.

Im so used to honda-tech why cant I see all of the posts at once? dont know about the ecu or the 6-7 bolt but I dont plan on spending enough money to make 500 WHP any way Ill look a little harder next time sorry for the inconvenience dsm1990gsx and thanks for the help 93eclipsegsx. thanks again later
