Ok People heres is a stupid QUESTION....I want the MIVEC head on my 97 Eagle Talon Tsi....Its the 4g63 engine...so it should fit right???wrong???help me out...and how long would this take....my friend is a honda head and he's talkin big trash...he just purchase a vtec head for his 97 honda!!!!see pics of what i want!!!!

Dude, without even asking the question. Look at the engines.... do you see anything different?
My main point here is, if you have to ask the question in the first place, you shouldnt be doing it.

That was abt an '06, he is talking abt a 97 tsi.
It will not come close to fitting, like what sebba said look at the pic, the timing belt and cams are on the opposite side.

sorry this was in the 2nd gen forum and some replys were aimed at 2nd/1st gen motors. figured it would apply to 2nd gen motors.

Mivec is actually super freakin complicated. I watched the tech video of the new Mitsubishi engine posted by Manybrews.. and DAAMN

why do you care what your vtec honda friend thinks. Your car is faster than his anyway. He just has no clue about cars and has watched too much F&F if he thinks Vtec is the greatest thing in the world. There are alot more things you could spend your money on and make it alot faster. Just do some research

Ya, instead of swapping heads, just put a bigger turbo on yours and a boost controller/gauge!!
His doesnt mean anything compared to that..
