Well I recently purchased a 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage DE Coupe with the slow 1.5l engine. It's not road ready yet. I got it for $550 from a co-worker looking to get rid of it. It's got part of the left front bumper missing and the drivers door is from another car and is grey against the white of the rest of the car. I am using this car as a senior project that we have to do at our school. I plan on devoting a minimum of 45 hours modifying and tuning this thing. I've registered with the Mirage Performance forums and here hoping to get some support from you guys. I've driven the car a little bit around my big driveway and I must say I'm liking it
It's only got about 92hp and that's weak compared to my last vehicle (91 Olds Cutlass Supreme 2.3 Quad 4) and I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust and air intake on it to get it up to at least 100hp. Anyways, I'll keep you guys updated on my progress and come here to get advice from you guys. Anyone interested in pics of this car before I start work on it let me know.

the mirage is a fun car to mod, welcome to the site. i'm also part of MPF, it's a great resource site and lots of cool people there
