You guys see this thing yet??? OMG is it UGLY.... What's with the designers these days they're making cars uglier and uglier... BUT Hot Wheels is supposedly getting into the tuner scene with body kits and (Imagine this) WHEELS lol... Also rumored is Hot Wheels paints.

i think that its cool, but theyre not going to put a 400hp engine in an eclipse and out-do the evo (which is the flagship performance car, and only has 286 hp in the IX)

I dunno it kinda looks like they DID put a 400 HP engine in an eclipse (Is it just me or do certain MAJOR aspects of the ralliart look nearly EXACTLY like the eclipse...) Too much CF for me though and that cockpit DISGUSTING lol sorry just not my style at all.... And look at that engine bay... There's NO room for ANYTHING there... I like that spoiler though LOL. And no doubt it's going to be a performance beast as long as they used the 6 bolt and not the 7 bolt...

its a concept car. they will not make this car. remember the concept car for the 4G.....400whp, AWD, gas engine in front, electric engine in the rear?

its just a concept car on what it COULD look like.

i agree, it does look cool, but if they did make it, it would cost a fortune.

yes.

now i knew RRE was big, but i didn't think that Mitsubishi would actually use some of RRE's tuned products in a concept car....IE the Muellerized suspension.

it woudl be an awesome car, and the baddest "stock' eclipse to date, but i could never see it happening, unless they did away with the Evo, or at least ceased Evo sales in the US

LOL still I don't like all the CF they're concepting in it. Besides look at the body it looks almost like an Eclipse doesn't it?

I saw that on tuners 3 days ago, what a bad ass car, if they were ever going to produce it either it would stay somewhat similar, not so much carbon fiber, different rims, not so powerfull, and it would be priced as a super car. Or its going to be stripped down back seats, smaller turbo, and its going to have to be priced way under the evo or elminiate the evo's sales. BTW sis anyone read the artical about the exo x in sport compact. According to the mag mitsu got some pattens pending so that every time someone turns the key of an evo x they will be breaking 4 laws about thermodynamics.

just incase you didn't notice.....it is a 4G eclipse body with a few modifications.

its the old GSX, only wit a bulkier body fixed w/ sum carbon fiber.....it looks alrite, they wouldn't sell that wit such a powerful engine...if they did that then they mine as well discontinue the Evo's. My guess is since the other models come wit 267 stock (i think), this 1 will prolly have close 2 or about the same hp as the Evo, maybe a lil less give or take a few numbers.

That isnt an old GSX it is the EVOIX it has the IX motor and full drivetrain and a few interior goodies from the EVO as well. I dont think this will be a mass production car because my guess is that it come as the FQ-400 does in the UK with the same build up. which we never got to see here.

If it does come out it would have to be higher HP than the current GT at 263 and need to be less than the EVO which is currently at 286 in the IX also I think if we do get this it would be after the full launch of the EVO X which is expected to be far behond the VIII and IX. either way it isnt possible for this car to come out with a price tag lower than the EVO and honestly if the EVO is cheaper id take the EVO it weights alot less which is another reason why they might wait till 2007-2008 for this to lauch along side the EVO X because im sure the EVOx MR will be priced around $50k when the time comes so this car wont look so bad at mid\high $30s anymore

it will surley be a little de tuned if it comes out. it wont have the obvious like the Wheels and the Turbo upgrades plus to save money I am not so sure they would even keep the Brembos on it knowing mitsu.

How fu3ked up would it be if the evo x looked JUST LIKE that gsx. Like it would be called the evox but it was that gsx... I wonder how that would go with the lancer evo fans. Personally I think mitsu needs to suck it up and actually use the potentional that they have. Instead of making fast cars from cars they already have just making fast cars that are compleatly different. Like the corvett for example, even the base model is a fast car, you cant go to a chevy dealer and ask for a 6cyl vett for you 16 year old daughter for her first car. Mitsu is a sissy.

Ya but the problem we have is that the Vette is an american made car where as the EVO is shipped. Mitsu has the same deal over seas as the vette does here. they offer the EVO in the VIII @276HP then there is the FQ-330 @330HP and then the FQ-400 @400HP we just get jipt for being in america it that point.

The EVO X wont look like this car, it will have a similar power plant I assume keeping the 4G63 (roomers say it will have a 2.5L turbo motor but I say umm NO) but the EVOx will def be over 300HP and I have seen some talks of maybe around 400HP, because the STi has that really rare model the red with white race stripes that was 325HP I think but they were going at $50k plus. I guess we will have to wait a year to see what the EVO X will bring to the U.S. shores

I ment the fact that you can buy a lancer, get evo rims, wing, side skirts, and bumpers and the average joe would know the difference between the two, where you cant buy a caviler and put some plastic on it and call it a corvette. I just want to see mitsu make something the the fto but a supercar. All of my friends knock dsm/mitsubishi "Its the poor mans sports car", We all know that the evo can be worked into low 11's but stock to stock. The evo is a 13 sec car, 03 cobra 12.50 stock, the new zo6 12.1, dodge viper 12 something, WTF mitsu needs to flex their arms a bit, ride up to a 10 cyl viper with less than half of the displacment and walk the fu3k out of it... hopefull the evo x will do that.

If the average Joe cant see the difference than they dont belong near the car. the EVO has a wide body the fenders and rear 1/4s have a squared out line they are much wider than the OZ or RA. as far as the EVO being a 13 sec car. the EVOIX has already made a stock pass at 12.89 and that is a US model the FQ-400 it a high 11 second car mitsu makes the cars we just dont get them.

You can mod an EVO with the stock turbo and still se mid\high 11s out of it. the next step from there is a upgraded turbo which the average turbo used is the gt35R and that has put a few EVOs in the Very high 9s. but US model EVOs stock for stock are slowley getting there but the IX is the fastest of them over here and at a 12.89 it is getting into the range of the cobra, but I saw a new Z06 yesterday and it ran a 11.6 stock they are faster than origanaly though to be

That wont happen, that thing is alittle bit of a new honda civic mixed with a new Charger R\T and a arura TL.

And in reply to myself I forgot that the EVO did have a slightly upgraded model sold here in the US called the BR 330 which was a hand full of EVOs that Bushur Racing got to do a few mods to before a dealer got them. I beleive it was only one or a very small few amount of dealers that sold them the car is kinda a rae one that isnt talked much about. And the BR330 was in the 12s and could compete with a corbra at most levels and still have the amazing handleing the car was made for

Yeah that's what I'm trying to say (So my words get all screwed up)... They ruined the Charger still though... Besides it doesn't even LOOK anything like the original charger I'm a Dodge man thru and thru but they've been rather disappointing lately... The SRT-4, the Magnum, now the Charger... Need I say more? At least Ford tried to and for the most part succeeded in going retro and having it look decent as well... (And I DISPISE Ford).

I coulnt agree with you more. The old chargers were BA but now they are ugly and the magnums are just plain slow
