Yeah hotwire a switch to the e-brake that when flipped on tells the car the emergency brake is enabled. My friend hotwired his in his Maxima and all it does is trigger on the "Brake" Light. It works awesome.

Or... u could just ground the ebrake wire to the chassis... but I didnt tell you that.
You really should be watching the road when u drive.. NOT the tv.

agreed with dusty, if that cable is actually looking for another thats hot, you can draw current from somewhere else to not mess up with your ebrake, but your ride your choice.

the metal body of your car. Use a bolt from the chassis to hold it there.

Hooking it up to a ground or the chasis might not work. It depends on the how new the radio is and if they company fixed it so you cant ground it out and watch the dvd player while driving.

If it uses the ebrake to turn it on or off, it must be looking for a ground Ant.

I know someone that would just click their brake on the very first notch (he had a pretty loose E-brake) and just drive like that, but you obviously run the risk of burning your brakes up.

^^^Not the best idea, even if it DIDNT damage the brakes, you look like a silly phucktard with the "Parking brake" idiot lamp on.
