New to the forums

hey, just wanted to say hey to everyone here on the forum. I live in a small town called Aurora IL, not too good for racing, but chicago's about an hour away, so i can always go up there. Well i have an Eclipse RS, which is quite slow, so im getting a HRC turbo kit for it to getr some power out of the 420a. Im looking to put more go in my car than show, because in the end, its not how good your car looks, its who finishes first. But no offense to you show guys, your cars look awesome, im just not that kinda person. Well i gotta go, just wanted to stop in and say hey.

Nah.. we still have a little room to spare down here... but we will be d@mned if we let all the city folk sprawl into our countryside... We like our half a mile to the next house. Less worries about the bullets bouncing off something and hittin the neighbor. LOL

yeah, i wish my neighbors lived half a mile away, my neighbor lives about 10 ft away, on each side, so you dont get much privacy. It sucks for parties to, neighbors always calling the cops on us, plus my neighbor hood sucks, everyone gets my plate for driving too fast around the curves hahaha.

at least you haven't been pulled over in an AWD for "squealing" your tires.. this state trooper pulled me for that and said, and I quote "do you know what its called when you squeal your tires?" (hot pavement ???) "careless driving" THATS SOME BULL right there.. I WISH I could spin all 4!!! not quite

Now thats funny... I got pulled over once for excelerating too quickly.... i told him "i had plenty more throttle to go... and i didn't get that far up in my revs..." he didnt know what to say, so he stood there silent for a few secs and then just said be more careful next time.... ok... ill make sure i do it when you arnt around...

Hahaha, funny story, i got pulled over last nite at like 2. I was doing like 15 over and a cop pulls me over. So he gets to my car and asks me to get out, so i do. He searches my car because he thought i had drugs or something. But anyways, hes there for like an hour, the little bastard tore up my car. He gets done and gives me a $75 for speeding. Well he gets back to his car and i wait for him to leave, and 5 seconds later he comes back up and asks me for a jump. He left his lights and everything on the whole time, and i guess his car died. So i gave him a jump...........got off with a warning.

Nice... stupid cops...
