Newbie question MMCS settings?

Just taken delivery of a UK version 2008 Outtie. Can someone please explain what "TP Standby" means/does in the MMCS "Set" menu

afaik this is Traffic Program Standby and means that you always get traffic information even
if you have tuned a station without a traffic information service.
Think that this RDS-EON (Enhanced Other Network)
