Just wondering if any of you guys ever used ngk spark plug wires and ngk iridium spark plugs? Are they any good? Are there any problem using them? Planning to get some, but need opinion from guys that used them before. My car is a 98 eclipse gst.

I have a 99 GST and I use the NGK's and they work fine. Unless your current plugs are super fouled or corroded you wont notice much of a difference...just your combustion will be a lot cleaner/smoother.

I just hear alot about them not working well with the GST/GSXs i hear about it all the time... "My car was running like **** after i changed my plugs.. i couldnt figure it out.. so i went out and got some brand new NGKs and put them in.. the car is back to normal" Just like that!

The ngk bpr6es or 7es work well with the turbo 2nd gen depending on ur mod. Also need to gap them correctly. I had the irridum style and wasn't that great so i switch to those.

I'd say 90% of DSM'ers use NGK BPR6ES and BPR7ES (one step colder than the 6ES). The other 10% use others because they don't know any better
The NGK 6ES and 7ES is what every DSM'er will tell you to use. They are tried and true and it makes no sense in trying to reinvent this old horse.
If your ignition is something you're worried about...no need to worry, the ignition system works. The next best thing is a COP (coil over plug). That's overkill though, unless you're making big power and need to have a more complete burn so that you're not running rich or blowing out the fire.
What Sebba stated pretty much sums up the general consensus of the DSM community about the plugs.
If you're still not convinced...try them out. Unless, you notice a huge improvement, don't worry about getting back to us though, unless you've got before and after on a dyno
Oh yeah, you won't be able to "feel" the plugs ignition. You'll only be able to see the numbers on a dyno...yeah, even a butt dyno won't be able to tell. Log it, then you'll be able to tell.

I get mine online. $10 for 4 is the norm. I can never find them in stock at the local parts stores here. I use the 7ES btw, since I'm doing more than stock power, so I went one step colder.

yea i go the same way. I went a step colder and i like to use the copper plugs. They dont last as long but you get much better spark

So the ngk copper is better than the irdium. What about the ngk wires, are they any good?

You do not have a GST or a GSX. So your statement is irrelevant.
