Hi,I'm new to the forum, hopefully I can get a few answers here because I can't figure it out.I have a 91' 3000gt SL.I have replaced the spark plug wires, the ignition coils, the ECU,and the crankshaft sensor and I still have no spark to the #1 and 4 cylinders.I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or can think of anything else it might be.Any advice would be much appreciated

I'm sorry but i don't know how to fix that problem... but if you go to 3si.org, search through and ask some questions... It gets much more traffic than in here.

I tried to become a member there but they won't take any free email address'(hotmail).I guess I'll just wait around here until someone with the infinate wisdom of the 3000gt electrical system comes along

cause I've got a migrane trying to figure this one out. Thanks though. If anything, can anyone with a manual tell me what else I could replace(besides what I've already done)that has anything to do with the spark to the cylinders? Thanks

Replace or check out the PTU. It is the little black unit under the coil packs. It interprets the signals from the ECU to fire the coils.

Just ordered a new PTU.I think this might fix it.Thanks for the advice stealth.I'll let you know the outcome as soon as it arrives.maybe it'll keep someone down the line from spending $700 trying to fix the same problem.

No problem, I hope it works. Per the wiring diagram, the only thing left that could be bad is a faulty wire in the wiring harness/connector. Those are a pain to trace out...
