Hi,
Just got my winter tires installed on my XLS without the TPMS on my new wheels. I was expecting a yellow light or any other indication of low pressure. But nothing...
Sure I'm glad of it but, do you have any idea why?

Give it time. It will pop up.
I put my winter wheels on saturday. Drove a couple of times saturday...no TPMS warning. Drove on sunday...no TPMS warning. On my way to work this morning, DING, there it is halfway through my drive. I just held the button in until it disappeared. Strange that it doesn't error out right away when no sensors communicate to the system.

Well there goes me relying on it to let me know when a wheel falls off :)

It probly doenst set off a light right away since theres no sensor saying your tire pressure is low. It cycles a few times and then realizes hey the sensor is missing.
