You guys think 1200 is a fair price for brand new 18 inch wheels and tires?

There are 2 kinds of 18" wheels... 5 spoke and the ones that have the machined face.

They are 5 spoke the ones that come on the XLS.

They are worth what someone will pay for them. Just call me captain obvious.  18" factory Aristos or BBS wheels for an ''02-''03 VW  337 /20th Anniversary GTI still go upwards of $800 for a set, and these are well used.  But, there is a big demand for them.  I do not think you will have a big demand for your 18" Mitsubishi wheels.  $600 tops in my book.  The OE tires from Japan are crap.

I bought perfect set of 5 spoke wheels with less than 10000 miles on the stock Goodyear tires for $595.  Good luck with your sale.

Whered did you get those for $595? I need a set, and not for $1200....

I waited patiently (put in a favorite search)for an EBAY set.  A place out of CA called SoCal Wheel resellers.  They have a ebay store: http://stores.ebay.com/SoCal-Wheel-Resellers
Send them a request and see what they have...very good business, well packed, but my shipping was on the high side due to distance and their "handling" charges.

The wheels are hard to find as there just isn''t alot of Outlanders rolling around, and the rims look pretty good so not alot of takeoffs.  Try your local Mitsu dealer as they occasionally have a take-off set come up.

I also searched larger city craigslists, but no luck.
