my 95 sl has 64k miles on it and i wanna change the timing belt . i only race my car every once in a while on the highway so do youll think i should pay the extra money to get the performance timing belt sold by 3sx.com or just get an oem replacement belt. and is this something i should replace myself or should i let the shop handle this one?

Performance timing belts are only for cars pushing like 500+
If you are running a normal mitsubishi one then you should be ok.

High horsepower applications does not neccesarily apply more stress to the timing belt than a stock engine. The Kevlar belt is primarily to protect the $$ that was invested in these engines as it is more durable and less prone to breakage.
