so is the idea for the bigger wrist pins? takes a little strength away from the rod but they look strong enough to live through about anything

And you'll raise the CR from 7.8:1 to 8.5:1 and have some low end torque.
The 1G "big rods" can handle it. They're beefy enough. Just imagine how weak the 2G rods are because they're a tad smaller

yea thats what most people like to do is the 2g pistons on the 1g rods.

i dunno im all about way too big of a turbo on too small of an engine, maybe i should stick with 7.8:1,
howbout that holset HX40W on there, i think its good to 40 or 50Psi on a diesel, lol, poor little 4 banger would probly have to crank 9500 r's just to get that thing to spool

Nothing wrong with making the turbo do most of the work. Some guys prefer that.

on the note of pistons, the 67D on my pistons are referring to a 4g67 1.8L non turbo , so i guess thats what it is, its still the same as a 6 bolt 2.0 just smaller bore,... IF i could find replacement pistons for the damn thing i'll just leave it a 1.8 and go with it, but i cant seem to find any,... anybody know of a place? its gonna stay turbo, i just dont feel like having it bored to take 2.0 pistons, what i have is fine, it doesnt need bored, i dont wanna waste the time doing it
