So this is my situition. I bought my 08' Lancer Es, on Monday. So far the car has been back to the dealership 3 times. The problem is the the engine will not shut off even though i pull the keys out the ignition?? The service manager said it's a easy fix and they replaced it with a new ignition. I drove it for a day and the problem happened again!! I know there is a Anti-lemon law, and i should be able to get it replaced or have a pending Lawsuit if i was to pursue it. anyone else have heard of this?

Okay manybrews.....if you were in my shoes....
bought the car brand new with 8 miles on the Odo..drove it for 3 days, engine won't shut down..in shop for 2 days...claiming they fixed it...i drove the can for 1 day, same problem happened again...car has yet to be in my possision since....total owner usage..4 days 300 miles, total days in shop 7 days and counting for the same problem...So your going to sit there and tell me to calm down...
This is my only form of transportation, i don't have all day taking days off from work to drop and pick up the car...i'm done!!

It's good to hear that your ride is already fixed.
It's just so frustrating to have a brand new car with that kind of problem...

Wow that's is weird and very very rare problem.
I never heard of that problem before even with a used car.
I would recommend to change the whole steering wheel or change the car.
You still have time and do it right away.
Talk directly to the Owner of the dealership
FIGHT FOR IT OR REPORT THE DEALER TO THE CONSUMER BUREAU

It is your money and decision to lemon the car
I won't blame Mitsubishi though.
Blame the Dealer they should have given new a new car. if they want to save their reputation. Call Mitsubishi HOTLINE directly and complain about the dealer.
I bet 100% Mitsu will be on your side... remember if you bought the car Mitsu will call you and ask questions about the car and the dealer in how they treated you. Mitsubishi really doesn't tolerate any mistakes that the dealer do.
GOOD LUCK.

I did...Mitsubishi of North America already gave me a call and said they are really sorry. They said they will investigate the issue and call me back within 21 days. She also asked me what would make me happy. I said i don't feel safe driving or owning this car anymore, so i asked for Mitsubishi to put my in a New car!!! I hope they can upgrade me to a GTS without paying for it! If not just give me the money that is owed to me so i can buy another car!

Try talking to the head of the dealership too
and If Mitsubishi doesn't do anything and that problem might occur again to someone or me.
I'll be damn!!!
Just crossed our fingers for now.
