hmms this will cost you. do you need the performance? lol but im serious. get a mirage 4-door and make it look like an evo 6 if you dont want the AWD, the power, hell the evo. it will cost you alot to import an evo 6 and legalize it here in the states.

ok the evo 7 was not sold here either lol. only the evo 8 and 9 have been sold in the US. and evo 8's can be bought for less then 25k now. They will continue to get cheaper as well.

Sorry dude, you're SOL. The first Evo's to be sold in the US market were the VIII's. Still a great car, but if you're wanting a VI, I hope you've got a couple money tree's growing in your back yard (if so, send me a few seeds). The VI was sold in Europe, Asia, and I think in Ausie too. Not too sure about South America, I know they got some sort of turbo Lancer, but I think it was the g93T Lancer GSR. Get the VIII or IX and save yourself the hassle of importing and legalizing a VI. Or, if you're set on the older versions, you can buy a 4th gen Mirage/Summit and do the Evo I-III swap w/ AWD. Same engine and transmission as the VI if memory serves correctly, just a slightly different body style.
