Usually the in dash tv's are connected to another unit which is the one that does all the distribuited work of sending the sound to the speakers, cuz if you hook up a tv, but dont actually hook the speakers to it, it wont work.... i dunno if im making myself clear.... what unit is handling your sound? it would help a bit more a more detailed description since the pic is not working well (at least not for me XD)

I am trying to get sound directly from the indash tv. Theres just a round adaptor from the car that theres no place to put on the indash tv.

lmao you serious? Why does the sound only work when thats pluged in? You sure? Because its a round end. It has prongs on the tip. I thought the antenna was the round pin that looks more like a headphone adaptor

Yeah youre right, hahaha sorry, i though it was like the 2g version, after looking at your stereo and looking at 3g's im deducting that thats the stsock amp cable, thats why there is no sound.... and i bet the holes on your screen for the amp are unused right?, im thinking you might need an aftermarket amp, unless you can get an adapator for that (if thats the amp cable, excuse me, i dont own a 3g, and i just realized youre talking about one in that pic)

I got the adaptor now got it from best buy... But still get no sound. Powers up just no sound.Wires are connected perfect, fuse isnt blown. When I connect the blue/white wire that came with hook up to the "remote" hook up from the indash i get sound just i hear static too. Im guessing that wire needs power. Where do i hook that up to?

If you have the stock Infinity amp youre going to need to bypass it, provided that your TV setup has an onboard one... Even IF you could get the sound working it will sound like absolute hell if you try to run BOTH of those amps together.
PS- Im hoping that you already changed out your SPS... (Stock Paper Speakers)

I had one installed at Circuit City and it took them 2 days. They said something about rewiring an amp, actually in the end they bypassed the amp and the amp built in to my DVD/TV/CD combo was louder than the amp that is stock under the seat.
