Does anyone know if 20" x 8.5" wheels would fit on a stock 3000GT, or would they rub against the wells? Talking about with low profile tires.

Also a dumb question, but what about 19" x 9.5" ones? Doing a little bling shopping, was wondering if anyone knew.

It's not the fender wells you really need to worry about, but the strut spring on the front. There is only about 1/2 of clearance between the tire and the spring. You could do it, but you will need to stay close to the OEM tire diameter.

ah-ha, well, go out to your car, hunker down and look at the space between the tire and the fenderwell. Towards the back of the tire you will see a coil spring and the strut. Look at how small of gap there is between the spring and the tire.

What model do you have?? VR4, SL...

Why would you post about some rims for your car if you aint got the car yet?......hmmm .......Anywayz...
I have a 94' 3000gt and have some really heavy bull$#it rims on my car and want to replace them w/ some Motegi Trak_LITE2's ( picture below ) Does N E body know what size rim would be best for racing though, a 19" or 18". I want the 19's but want what will be best for the car.
