Had a funny thing happen the other day, my buddy I was helping move had me drive his Chevy Luv that has gone 9.84 (I think that is what it did, possibly a 9.82 or 9.86, it was a few months back when we were at the track) quarter mile with the old cam, from one house to the next.  Not long after we get it in the new garage a guy at the end of the street gets his RX7 out with stock everything and smokes the tires and whips it around and drives it into his garage and stands outside waiting for reactions, I mistakenly thought it was a lawn mower.

And, because I didn't want to start a new thread, I just finished the metal work and painting the bottom, 12 point cage, trunk and floors and tubs in my '72 Camaro, and it is awesome.  The thing looks fast sitting still, and the new floors, transmission tunnel and metal work underneath is incredible with all the bead rolling, if I don't say so myself.  It would be worth a picture but it is not very photo genic in DP90.

And about the neighbor, I think he would welp like a small dog if the truck was only reved by his car.  With the new cam, we are having trouble keeping it stuck to the ground in second gear with the Mickey 18's x 33's, 5.13 rear with a powerglide.  The new cam has given us new traction issues.

Haha...My girlfriend was in the room when I clicked on that link for the mazda.  The volume on my computer was turned all the way up...She nearly **** her pants when it came on.  She was so pissed at me, but it was worth it and it was really really funny!!

I know all about the 3 and 4 rotors, and no they do not change a thing for me.  They are unreliable have no low end at all.  granted the 3 and 4 rotors are fast even NA but id much rather drive something other than a rx7 with a rotor motor

I thought all rotary motors were 2 or 3 cyls? At least in reference to Rex's...

They dont have cyls obviously.  and it depends what aspect of the motor you look at.  They are 1.3L so ya know.  they have 4 plugs I think it is and 4 injectors i think it is

I meant rotors... and typed cyls... likely because I was telling myself specificaly not to.

stock rx7's are 2 rotor. they have 3 "cylinders" if you will for each rotor. its basically like 2 engines mounted to eachother..

Funny thing, the neighbor came over to see Bob and Bob recognized him as a guy that works at the transmission shop that Bob gots his race powerglide built at.  After looking at the Luv he has calmed down about showing his awesome stock Mazda power.
