My eclipse has the ACT 2600 lb. pressure plate and I've also replaced the clutch line and reservoir down by the tranny with a stainless steel line. I just put a new slave cylinder on because the old one was leaking. After bleeding it and taking it around the block a few times the clutch started going soft and I had to pump it up to shift. Needs more bleeding right? So I bled and bled and bled, driving the car in between, all with the same result: Soft pedal not staying pumped up. I didnt really see any noticable leaking and why should I, its a new slave cylinder. So I pop the rubber boot off the NEW slave cyl. and fluid poured out......it was leaking! Has any one else had any problems like this? I'm hoping I just got a bad slave and its not the ACT pressure plate and bigger clutch line that is putting more fluid pressure through than a factory slave can handle.

Yeah, I've heard those non-oem type replacements can be crummy sometimes but I've never personally had a problem with em. Good call.
