Is it possible to swap one HDD to another vehicle or are they vehicle specific. If I swapped my 07 Outlander HDD with an 08 Outlander, could I do this. This would update my software and Nav map, correct?

First of all be sure you are using the same loader version, because the password used for HDD protection depends on it. If the loader vesion is the same on both machines, you can swap the disks, or unlock them and just copy the data from NAVI partition.
