Anyone know where I can find a T-28 turbo for cheap??? I know I know, the T-28 is not near as nice as the Evo 3 16g for the money, but i dont feel like dropping $500+ on a FMIC setup. I also am going for a sleeper look so this would be nice cause its looks like the stock T-25.  Any sites that offer the best turbo prices would be appreciated!

Honestly, between the 16g and the T25, it all looks the same when that head shield is over it.

Also, you only need the FMIC when you start upping the boost. If you want to run the stock fuel system, you can keep the stock SMIC and be just fine. The T28 is still too small....

well it all depends on what you want out of your car sebba if you just want to pick up some power not alot but still a big gain over a t25 a t28 is fine but most go with a 16g cuz they want more than a small gain i would go 16g  but to each his own

So sebba your saying that if i get a 16g then i can stick with the smic as long as i dont up the boost. Wheres the fun in that!!! How much boost can i safely run on a 16g with the stock injectors? I already have a 190lph pump.

the stock smic maxes out at around 17-18 psi on any turbo so you can runa 16g at 16 psi and be safe

on the stock fuel system you should not run over 15 psi. You shouldn't really run higher than that even on the T28. I got an EVO III 16G off of DSM trader, brand new with install kit and FMIC J pipe for $500 shipped. just look around and you can find a good deal!

ya..  what they said.   You are really better off just getting the 16g turbo..    The intercooler is really an afterthought^^

So its safe to run around 15psi on the stock fuel + smic setup with a 16g?

Yes.

Your not going to get any more out of a T28 either, thats what I'm saying.

the only difference with the t28 as opposed to the 16g is the t28 will be a direct bolt in. And the 16g you will neeed the install kit which includes the j-pipe
