He has the hardtop 04 6speed N\A... it isnt fast but the hydrolic clutch makes it feel like it pulls hard when you hit gears and the throttle is a little delayed but it opens up nice. I hate the shifter it is so cheezy plastic and I feel like im gonna break it. and the windows you can hardley see out and it has blind spots galore

About time, I saw the preview a few months ago I think it was. This oner they got right. The charger was a joke, a freakin 4 door sedan. The only thing semi appealing is the front end looking straight at it, other than that it's a poor excuse for the Charger nameplate. The Dukes of Hazzard would be the Dorks of Hazzard in the new Charger. Just my worthless biased opinion

yuck..recycled DCX media pictures....
authentic media shots, anyone?
My little Challenger Project and my photos from the NAIAS industry day... if you hunt around a bit, i have a ton of Challenger info, both old and new..videos, stats of every year of the challenger, etc...
and as many pictures as i have, there is no describing the paint on this car..it just glows...

Hah.. I never thought about the dukes of hazard with the new charger... Your right though. It wouldnt be cool at all... Thats what makes the challenger cool, is the fact they didnt change the whole look of it like they did the charger...

I was so disappointed with the charger... How you gonna take old school muscle change the look THAT much AND make it FOUR DOOR?!?!?! C'mon what respectable sports car has FOUR doors??? The new Challenger though... THAT looks HOT!

There is just something about that back end of that car that is amazing. I love the look of those tails.

It looks awsome and I'm sure the engine will be nice but not as much muscle as the original.

well, depending on the price, i fully intend to buy one, unless DCX screws up and makes it another "elite vehicle"...

I think the demand for this car will be far too high to be another Viper. Viper's an okay car, but for the price of "prestige" or "status", no thanks, I'll take the 06 Vette Z06 and I'll keep my extra $15-$20K, even with a level price tag I'd take a Vette. So "everyone has a Corvette" or "I want to be different". Okay, be different and buy a car that does it's job well and is not overpriced just for the sake of being overpriced. BLAH! Okay, I'm done. But seriously, Dodge can pull in some serious sales number ESPECIALLY if they offer a cheaper six cylinder model....not my preference though.

Id buy this thing too... I really like it and that means alot because I am a turbo car guy

I wish I was a turbo car guy. My budget has yet to allow me a turbo car. I think some time ago you said you paid like $24k for your car... by me the 04 and 05 EVO's are still $28-$29K. I just checked it out last week and thought damn, it's just about to lose the warranty and it's still pulling in that much money....
I would love to drop the RIPP kit in my car but cannot afford it right now, actually I can, but am spending the money on a family vacation instead. Damn, Damn, Damn. There is no respect for the Outlander in the speed category, and very rightfully so. I would have a lot of fun with a turbo in it. I intend to make it a sleeper(long term). My few mods thus far have yielded nothing to speak of in terms of performance gains... the AWD and auto kill me.

I'm looking into the underdrive pulley and possibly the ported and polished intake. Any suggestions aside from selling and engine swapping would be appreciated!!!! My car is slow, and heavy but you work with what you have.

I paid $22k for mine and the asking price was $26995 it had 12000 Miles on it so just broken in and it is on 03. That is in Florida too where I bought it. You gotta play the game with the dealer to get the price that suites you best

I'm all for playing the game with the dealers, but not having a warranty on that car doesn't sound like fun to me,,,not saying it isn't reliable, but if something breaks, there goes the bank. Nice negotiating on your part!

ya man I have my factory mitsu 60K warrenty for 48000 of the 60K. so nearly a 50K warrenty for me on the car isnt bad at all. Like I said the deals are out there. I almost bought one with 2,500 Miles on it for the same price but I liked the black better and it the black had a sunroof and all options the other did not. BUT I played the 2 cars against easch other since they were at diff dealers.

ya well doing that most of the time you get screwed, that is why you either play to dealers against each other or bluff and pretend there is another dealer you are going to as well. They are slime balls they want your business and if they know you are infact serious about buying soon they will give you what they need to to make a sale

well, i didnt haggle so much, as i told this guy "well, i can get 500 for recent college grad at this other dealership, what can you do?" so they gave me a grand...i wanted the car without a sunroof, but they said that none were available with the RT package, yet it was a 900 dollar price hike...so i bitched, and they knocked that off...they also had the interior treated or some nonsense, and it was around a grand, i complained, and that came off...it had been a demo for a brief time, so they gave me what ended up being like 2 bucks a mile off for that...there was something else, but i cant recall it at the moment...so i guess that i did bicker with the guy a bit, but it was late on a saturday, and he was headed out for vacation, and was in a hurry...
