alright, i've never worked on any mitsu's before and i now have an 03 eclipse gs with the 2.4 4cyl 5 spd, and i just ordered a cat back exuast, just want to know about how long it to you guys to do that and how hard it was. and is there anything i need to be aware of before i start. thanks for the help.

well as long as you got a good brand or one that was properly bent, then you wont have a problem. It might take a little while to do if some of the bolts on your stock exhaust are rusted. But if its a good exhaust system it should be direct bolt on. What kinda did you get?

I'd have some penetrating oil and spare time before you even start though, especially since you're in NY- the whole salt on the roads thing and snow will make it a little more troublesome- if your car has been in the snow that is.

yeah, i'm pretty sure it has been since its an 03, but i don't plan on driving it in the snow and ****ty salty roads. thats what i kept the neon for. and i got a tsudo cat back, looks good. there doesn't look like there is much rust under the car at all, so i'm thinking i can knock this out in a few hours on weekend. does the mitsu exuast use those reg exaust clamps or does it have those bolt together flang things?

i believe it should have the three bolt flanges
