thermostats

is the 1st and 2nd gen thermostats the same ir are they different?

Why do you ask?  Is your car modified?  Are you having a hard time finding a 2G stat?  420a or 4g63?

i would think they would be different, especially for a 4g63 and a 420a... but maybe not for a turbo 1g and a 2g... but a non-turbo 1g 4g63 and a turbo 2g could be different... i have no idea haha... i would just order the one for your car, that would work the best

unless the car had a swap done, then you order one for the engine.
